Staff Training & DBS Checks

Enhanced DBS Checks

All staff undergo enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks before they can work with children.

Staff receive comprehensive safeguarding training on induction and regular refresher training thereafter.

We have a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) who coordinates safeguarding and is the point of contact for concerns.

Staff keep up to date with safeguarding developments and participate in regular supervision.

Information for Parents

We want you to feel confident that your child is safe in our care. Here's what you can expect from us:

  • Open communication — We keep you informed about your child's day and any concerns we may have.
  • Secure environment — We maintain secure premises and careful sign-in/sign-out procedures.
  • Qualified staff — All our practitioners are trained, DBS checked, and supervised.
  • Clear policies — Our safeguarding policies are available for you to read on request.

If you ever have any concerns about your child's safety or wellbeing, or about anything you observe, please speak to a member of staff immediately. We take all concerns seriously.

Reporting Concerns

If you have any safeguarding concerns, please speak to our Designated Safeguarding Lead or any member of staff immediately. All concerns will be taken seriously and handled appropriately.
